Ok, here's what I am looking for......
I am trying to find an MP-5, P-90, or M4 Airsoft rifle. It does not have to be functional. It has to be metal construction. ( no plastic crap! )
You can keep all of the internals. I am willing to purchase or possibly trade my XBOX 360 for it. The XBOX 360 was bought in July and has only been used 7 times. Light usage. Only played one game on it and decided I lost interest in video games.
I want to gut the airsoft gun and use as housing for ION internals and give it a sweet look.

As an update; I have narrowed my choice to that of a P-90 airsoft marker. If anyone is interested in selling or trading theirs, let's deal !! I have a RCA small wonder camcorder that I am willing to trade if that sounds good. There are pics of it on my Craigs list page. Here is the link: norfolk.craigslist.org/wan/1035443041.html

I thought about that as a choice. Would rather build something that has never been attempted before. I've looked and I have never seen an MP-5 ION anywhere.
If I am lucky, I might be able to make the MP5 field-stripable like the Rob-Mod. I have even given serious thought to modding and selling ION to MP5 upgrades for a fee.

Are you the guy that also has a green mini ?
I'm very forgetful.
In order to get you the right style ROB MOD, I need to know which body you have on your ION ? Factory....aftermarket ? IF aftermarket, which company and style are we talking about ?
See ya soon!!

Hi Thomas,
I would like to make a suggestion about the Rob-Mod. If you plan on sticking with the stock body, you can use the"speedball" version ROB-MOD. It has a somewhat shorter, flush profile. But doesnt work well with longer bodies.
If you go with the "scenario" version Rob-Mod , it is longer with its nubs and the banjo fitting is further towards the rear. I keep this version because most mil-sim ion bodies are longer. Esentially you could use this version on either body style, but it isnt as "stylin" you could say. More function over form.
The choice is yours.
I will bring two different versions for your choice tomorrow. You can take a look at both versions I already have installed. Scenario is on my ION , whereas speedball is built into my nephew's ION.

Wlecome to the world of ion boby mods Snake! i havent been around for awhile, but im back! Whats up man... I have had a ton of people ask me to do Ion mods for them, and at first I was really turned off, but I have a guy who is pretty serious about it that im talking with now, and I told him I would do it. Youve seen my G36C right? www.prismusa.org/commo/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=112My next one will be a SCAR or M4. I really wanted to do an MP5 because the Ion seems like a good choice being a "quite" full auto an all. The only problem with any of these mods is what to do with the loaders. I have yet to design an "M203 shell" for the Q Pods. We should talk about this offline. heres my info: email: scion_rs2@yahoo.com Yahoo: scion_rs2 Jackal

Hey Jackal, long time no shoot !!
Thought you guys dropped off the planet.
You missed a helluva game this weekend. Just ask anyone.
Yeah, I've been pondering building one for myself and I even started talking with some people at the field this weekend about building for others as well. The idea was well received. Definitely some potential there.
As far as field testing goes, I havent built an MP-5 yet, but I've been sketching ideas and I have a concept for making the MP-5 or UMP 45 both bolt accesible from the rear !!! And I have a solution for the feedneck issue, as it has something to do with the bolt access system I have in mind.
Only problem I have run into is, which material to work with. Metal is obviously tougher and more forgiving than ABS plastic, but as we both know, money is the issue.
