A twist to consider for the Base domination game. For info this game runs as follows: half the defending team in the Fire Base, then upon elimination the whole team defends base 4, and then upon elimination defends base 5. The game is 40 min plus 10 min. The attacking team can use the 10 dallying, getting set up, or getting to the fire base quick.
The twist - Allow the defending team to use some of the 10 min also.
Allow a few (say 3) of the defending team to be anywhere they want in Field 1 between the Power Line and the Fire Base (singly or in a group). The attackers can either spend the time to locate & eliminate the threat to their rear, or they can proceed to the Fire Base and either deal with the risk there or ignore it and hope for the best. These 3 defenders could potentially be harassing the attacking team all the way to Base 5 if they never get eliminated.
These defenders could be allowed to float and attack/retreat at their whim (as I would envision), or to aid the attackers it could be required that these defenders become “fixed” in position once engaged (until they are either eliminated or eliminate the attackers they are currently fighting).
If this too heavily favors the defense (in a game that seems to favor the defense by last weekends play) you could tack on more minutes.

Hmmmm........ gotta say I like it !!!
All those bases you mention are kinda tight together and it would definitely add a "flow" to the battle. I like the guerilla tactic aspect of it. 3 floaters sound good.

I like it; though perhaps you could add a defense of the powerlines to it, just for added fun.

Do the same thing for domination of bases 3,4, and 5. Since firebase 1 has been out of commision for a while.
