TM-15

Like most I have not seen one up close and personal. But, unlike the TM-7, they made the body for the TM-15 out of magnesium which is light weight and stronger than the TM-7 (lessons learned). If I was into Mil-SIm markers it would be a definate over the Tippmanns. The mini internals make the marker far easier to maintain, really on 2 things that can go wrong. Poppet issue or solenoid issue, with the majority going to poppet wear.
Hope that helps.

I held one the other day over at Bonus Ballz store in Newport News.
Fairly light for a Mil-sim marker.
Price was 459.
Looks ok but I prefer the slim, streamlined compactness of guns like the EGO.
If you are going to buy it I would recommend a foregrip. Would definitely benefit from one.
Battery access is a snap with the 9 volt being housed in magazine. Simply drop the magazine for quick swaps.
As with anything else its all about personal preference.

TM-15

Checked out the one at the local paintball store.
BT learned half a lesson by making the safety selector switch smaller than the TM-7's), but they did not learn enough to keep it flush against the side of the receiver (body) of the gun. The selector no the TM 7 is about 1.5" long and has about a 3/8" gap between teh switch and the body). For example I borrowed my buddies TM-7 last time I played at New Kent. I caught the safety selector switch on something (I still do not know what or when - so it must have broken easily) and snapped it right off. I did not know this during the course of the game because I never fired a shot - I spent the duration of the game dragging the downed pilot around the field evading the other team.
The TM-7 is a small light gun. The TM-15 is a large light gun. Kinda like a cross between an X-7's bulk and the TM-7's weight.
The TM-15 screwed up in my opinion. The rail thing/forearm for mounting extra crap in is at least removable on the X7. On the TM15 it appeared non-removable and it was about 4" thich and -12" long (I am going from memory a week old). So you could not even screw a 4-866" barrle

Fat fingered the key board. The last comment should read the forearm is about 4" tall and 8-10" long. You cannot even screw a barrel any shorter than this (4-8") into the gun. Barrels screw in like they do on the X7 - thru the forearm. The forearm is completely useless unless you either want to mount extra crap on your gun, or you intend to hold the marker in front of you and use the forearm as a paint shield. It should be removable. It may be, but my quick inspection did not reveal it to be.
Battery thing is nice the battery is in the magazine, that drops with the push of single button. Another - in my opinion - design flaw. It should either require 2 buttons to be pushed simultaneously or the button should require more pressure before the mag drops. I could see teh battery well dropping out way to easy in the field. How many of you know people that have lost the magazine/tool holder on their X-7's? Same thing with the TM-15, but now your gun does not WORK AT ALL until you either find it or quit playing a nd buy a new one SOMEWHERE. I would wrap that thing with electrical tape if it was mine.
The one button thing looks cool in the store, but is a weakness in the field.
My buddie who had the TM-7 - bought the TM15 also. So I will post some more as he uses it.

There is a lot good about this gun also, I will let the manufacturer and store tell you all about the good stuff in the sales pitch (I already mentioned its light weight).
