Could we possibly do a UWL game format as a gametype? it's really fun and intense. It's like domination except with flags as capture objectives. Check it out at www.playuwl.com

fearless, we already have a game with this type format, but requires 80-100 people to play on our field. It is called Conquest. There is a version that requires 60-80 players called Conquest Lite.

uh thats great and all but that requires too many players to put into effect for walk-on games. This game type is all about points and capturing flags. The minimum this gametype requires is 10 players, (5v5) but is mostly played with 20 players, (10v10) or more. only lasts 30 min. quick and easy. it's designed for woodsball.

Fearless might be on to something......
This seems like just the sort of thing NKPG was built for.
Perhaps the staff should consider a UWL co-op ?
Seems like a way for NKPG to get some big name recognition.

It might be able to be done with bases 1-4 (Fields 1 and 2) the way UWL sets up their field.
There would be no point level, simply because we would not be running it as tournament or scenario mode. It would have to be all or nothing at end of game. This is pretty much what Conquest lite is and it can be modified for fewer players with no more than 4 bases in play.
All things are up to the boss in the end.

yea you dont have to worry about the points. just at the end of the time limit, whichever team has the most flags swung in their favor wins. The UWL looks for fields to host a UWL event. Maybe NKPG can host an event one day. Then players that are local would go to NKPG to practice the UWL format for other events across the country, because yall would offer that format for play on the fields.

This gametype sounds awesome. It will be a better game because you can attack and defend multiple bases instead of moving in one direction towards an enemy base. More action will develop by giving the players more options to attack. I think this game type would work out great on the New Kent fields.

I like the format and the marker restrictions. I love the fact that you can have a 10th man but he has to be shooting a pump or a pistol. You could actually set this up as an all day tournament. First thing that you could do is break everyone into 9-10 man teams and set up a basic tounament bracket. Using fields one and two you could run the 30min tournament games. While that is going on you could have everyone else there playing on field 3. That way even when you are not in a game you can still play all day. As far as scoring it would not be that hard. All you would need is 2 basic stopwatches or kitchen times at each base. One for the red team one for the blue. If a team raises their flag on a base they start their timer and cut off the other teams timer. If you have a ref or field sgt at each flag station you could have them control the timers. I think that this would be awsome. If this catches on you could advertise a UWL day ever 2 or three months. You could even offer the chance for each team to add an 11th player if they are a newb with rental equipment too keep newer players in the fold.

I sent an email to the folks at UWL about NKPG with web address.
They sounded interested in the field.
Got a response saying they would " look into it. "
Would be nice to see something happen there, but it's nice to dream. ;D

All,
NKPG has put together a new game that uses 3 bases and somewhat mimics the basic UWL format. It takes about 20 players per side to run, but the more players there are the better the game will be. We had hoped to introduce it June 5th, but there weren't enough players.
Hope to see you guys out there!
