Yea, but don't those things cost a ton? RAP4 milsim stuff is really steep...

never has; never will be cheap. But from what I've heard, RAP4 guns are just suped up spyders. I'm not 100% in saying that, but it's what I've been told. I'm really hoping that's not true because they seem great from some of the specs I have read about.

Out of all the years I have played and fields I have been on there has only been one Rap4 marker to ever cross my path. It was nothing to brag about from what I recall. Honestly, I have been more impressed with a couple brass eagle markers if that says something about comparisons. However this new feed system is a whole other animal. Especially if used with a Tacamo tippmann kit.

Okay, I looked it up, and I have to admit, it is impressive. It goes for about $100, and has a capacity of 250 rounds like you said. But still, unless your a die-hard milsim guy or a marine used to using a SAW, that is A LOT of weight to carry on your gun. I'd rather just use pods. Also, the air canisters they hide in the stock would probably run out of air before you ran out of paint, so that sort of defeats the purpose of not needing to reload... But yes, it would make it much more realistic for things such as Army training.

I don't think I've ever seen a RAP4 marker in the 6 or so years I've been playing..but yes, this ammo drum is definitely a big step forward in feed system technology. There's some pretty sweet stuff out now..only problem is the price for some items.

I didnt see anything about reloading air by means of the stock. If I recall, it was all remote hose set-up. Looked that way in the video.
The attention to detail and engineering is mainly what I appreciate and respect.
Yes, it is geared towards the diehard milsim guys. Not the rest of us. I partly posted this to possibly draw some attention of folks who play airsoft and check out the boards. Thought maybe it would possibly sway them our way or put the word out in their community. The airsoft players seem to have a distaste for lack of milsim. This could possibly be the catalyst to turn that mindset. Doesnt hurt to try.

Yes, I have to agree. It definitely brings the realism up a level, and hopefully will encourage air-soft enthusiasts to try paintball. But my air reference was not due to the video, but RAP4 claiming that their guns' air tanks are hidden in the stock, which would make paintball guns look pretty dang close to the real thing. However, they only hold 5oz, so in order to get the full performance, you would have to use a hose like in the video. But that is definitely a breakthrough in paintball gear!
