I have played in the past and I have one of the first Tippman A5s made (real dusty right now) that has many mods but it cost a nice penny. I need your opinion, I have two sons that want to start playing and it will be good for the old man to get out there and play again. I know this is not a cheap sport, game, life style or what ever you want to call it, but what are a couple of good guns for beginners that are less expensive as I need at least two. They like the idea of there guns looking like assault riffles - but not real important to me. I will have to shot them both several times before I bring them or buy them just to make sure they can take the heat. ;D

I would tell you to bring them up and play before investing in guns. We have A5 rental guns. It is probably your best solution up front before you drop some hard earned cash.
But, good starter guns; US Army by Tippmann and BT (Ben Tippmann) are your biggest players in the mil-sim market, but just about every company makes a mil-sim model.
