How are is everybody?! I'm just giving you all heads up that New Kent Paint Ball Games will be open this coming Saturday, May 5th!
Every first and third Saturdays of each month we are open to the public and we play rain or shine! We open at 0900 and close around 1700.
The vegetation is getting thicker out here so I hope that you all show up wearing woodland camouflage! Remember, out here bright colors only attract more paintballs!!
For those of you who are new we recommend the following to help you enjoy your time here: camouflage clothing (woodland camouflage - as mentioned earlier), a belt, bug repellent (its been a mild winter - ticks are out!), bring a beach towel (for your vehicle so that it doesn't get it too dirty), and extra clothing to change in after the games.
We're looking forward to a good day for May 5th! Hope you all are looking forward to some intense fights and having a blast playing here! See you all on the Field!

Does anyone remember Firebase 1  ? How is it after all the thought, design and work invested in it did it become the red-headed stepchild ? |

No, Firebase 1 is still one of our most impressive bases! That base is legend and their is no other base like it on this Field! Players still speak of Firebase 1 with enthusiasm and eagerness to play a game there!! The first question I commonly get on the Field is this: "Is Firebase open today?!"! There are a few pictures of Firebase 1 on Facebook as well as mentioning the intensity of that game; April 7th! Hope we get enough people to play an actual Firebase 1 game! We'll see! Looking forward to playing paintball in both Firebase 1 and Base 6 (now that it has been connected to the trenches of Field 3!)! Take it easy everyone and stay cool!!

saturday 5/5's games were once again great ! The teams seemed pretty evenly matched at least for the first half of the day, we left early, the thunder around lunch time was our cue to pack up and believe me we packed up reluctantly. The first game (capture the flag as always) was a good day starter, and by the second game both teams seemed to be warmed up and ready for action, blues efforts to get the flag into the red base were intense to say the least, red's perimeter defenses were tight and well maintained all in all a recipe for awsome action, we're really looking forward to the next open day, see you guys there. and Daimyo you gotta get on the field next time.

Ouch, Firststrike! I'm hit! You shot me with a paintball of guilt!! Of course, I wanted to get into the action of playing paintball with you all! Those were some good games and I heard of the intensity of the fights through direct conversation with players and radios. I'm looking forward to be in the games on our next walk-on game day for I intend to play and maybe I may bring a new upgrade!! Just remember that I am a true Blue!
I heard that those games were great! Capture the Flag had some impressive fights in the trenches and I hope that you all enjoyed that trench connection to Base 6! Red team won that game, which I was shocked to hear you all took the flag! I must say, when you take the flag make sure that you take the hooks off completely!! Anyway, the death toll for both sides were heavy but you all enjoyed going back into the fight!
After the Center Flag game, I was told that if Blue team had 5 more minutes they would had the flag in Base 3 but we will never know! That was an intense game for I heard some of the conversations on the radio of Blue maneuvering. Good job Blue for controlling the Field and having the flag! Good defense Red for holding Blue off!
The third game we played in the rain and you all that played are tough! A Search and Destroy game! I heard of friendly fire incidents on Blue team, which I don't know if you all were having visual issues because of fogging or if there was a lack of communication. Either way, you all still kept hunting the other team! Just think you all played both rain and shine! And we salute you for being hard core!!
Hope that all went well for you! And if you have anything to say on how things went then let us know for it would be good to hear from you! Take it easy and hope that you all have a good time with your mothers for this coming weekend on Mother's Day! And remember, if you want to treat your mothers to a great game of paintball then we open again on May 19th!!
